I bought these lights after seeing them on Instagram and am very impressed with them. I mis-read the description and thought they were 15 feet, but they are actually 15 meters! That difference changed where I used them, but they are so pretty and fairly easy to work with. The star shape does mean they catch on each other, so use caution when putting them up. I did have one light that either came off in the tangling, or was missing all along, but the strand works regardless so I just used a bit of electrical tape to cover the loose wire. The lights do not put off any heat at all, so they're safe with faux garland. I'm so happy with my purchase!

I really like these lights. They are sturdy and I like that there are 100 of the stars. The lead wire is nice and long, so you can plug it in 6' or so from what you are lighting (my indoor plants). The annoying part is that to change settings, you have to use the inline controller, it is NOT a separate 'remote' which is why remotes are called remotes! You also have to unplug it to turn them off, which is why I am happy that I can plug them away from the plants and get to the plug easily. I bought a set of Halloween lights (different manufacturer) and while they have a nifty REMOTE, the wires are so flimsy it was very time-consuming to unravel them. Which is why I am happy to deal with the NON-remote on this set of lights. I will trade the sturdiness of these stars over having an actual remote. So, these are lovely, but a REAL remote would make them perfect! I would buy them again.

I like these lights a lot. I use them as ambient light for my bedroom at night. They look really good and have lasted a while. I think I got these a year ago and they still work just as good. I have them on everynight all night long and they're still going strong. I've bought a few string lights that break within months so I think these are definitely worth the money since they've lasted way longer.

I haven't actually used the timer or other functions on it cause I have it hooked to a smart plug so I have no clue if that is good or not.

This product is useless in North America because the electrical connection and supply requirements are not consistent with standard 120V outlets. Even if you use an adapter/ converter, the product is cheaply made. Also there is no returns. A total rip-off. I expected much more from products recommended by Amazon.

I didn't get a remote in my package, but I love these star light so much when I bought them last year, that I bought them again this year. This year's seem improved. Apparantly they come with a remote? (I didn't get one, but that would have been handy!) But when I plug in last year's, I have to click through the last setting it I want the lights to stay on solid. The newer lights are always on the same setting when I plug them in, awesome! They also have a softer, more pleasing light quality than last year's. I'm a fan of warm white and somehow these ones are less yellow but are still warm, not the white flickery LED colour. I would have given them 5 stars had I received my remote!
