gloves are excellent quality and look great. I bought 16oz gloves. My hands are medium size, not big at all and gloves fit snug. I wore wraps and still got blisters the first time I used the gloves. My old Everlast gloves, 14oz, seem to be a looser fit. I had to start putting sports tape over my knuckles to avoid blisters. over time, gloves started getting looser, but still overall a tighter fit. If you have big paws, you might want to go a size bigger than what you are used to. Also very disappointed that the inner sleeve already tore after 7 months of moderate use. Every time I use them, a bunch of shredded foam comes out when I remove them. Over time, the foam is going to get really thin on the right glove and probably render it unusable. @Title - please make this right and send me a replacements!
I’ll start by clarifying that I’m not a boxing or boxing glove expert. I’ve been attending a very intense one-hour boxing class daily.
I first purchased an entry-level pair of faux-leather, Everlast gloves. Approximate $25. Working a few months, those gloves were worn out and stinky. I’m sure Everlast makes good quality gloves, I must have just bought the cheap ones.
Fast forward to a few months ago. I purchased these Title gloves because a lot of boxers in the class were using them. My experience so far is fantastic. The gloves are holding up well. They breathe well. My hands do sweat but it is far less of an issue. The leather is holding up well and the sound alone, of the leather gloves striking the bags and mitts (Hooks!!) is worth any extra extra cost!!!
I read a review where someone mentioned that these gloves caused carpal tunnel or something. I think I experienced what they were writing about once or twice at the beginning.
It’s more of a hand cramp.... It’s not an issue though once the glove is broken in and you must also fully seat your hand all the way into the glove. It has not been a problem for me. I only mention it so others might be aware of what to do if they experience it.
Highly recommend these gloves for your first pair. Don’t waste money on cheaper gloves. Intermediate and advanced users may recommend others or more expensive professional options, but most the people boxing in our gym with varying skill levels are using these gloves.
These gloves are good quality for the price. They have very good wrist support. Some say these gloves are too tight which is not the case. They are only snug when you first buy them until you break them in. This type of glove wasn’t designed to be lose being the fact that it focuses on wrist support. They offer good comfort and good padding for protection. I have had mine for a little while now the the fabric inside where your finger tips go has torn. I recommend these gloves for hitting the heavy bag.
Great for bag and pad work. Velcro makes it easy to take on and off by myself, and padding in glove is exactly what you'd expect from Title. A solid choice at a decent price.
