The service operator and provider for Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region based out of Beijing and adjacent areas is Beijing Sinnet Technology Co., Ltd. (Sinnet), and the service operator and provider for Amazon Web Services (Ningxia) Region based out of Ningxia is Ningxia Western Cloud Data Technology Co., Ltd. (NWCD).

Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region operated by NWCD offer a technology service platform that is similar to other Amazon Web Services Regions around the world. Developers can easily and efficiently deploy cloud-based applications inside of China with the same APIs, protocols, and de-facto operating standards used by Amazon Web Services customers around the world.
Like other Amazon Web Services Regions, data or objects stored in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region remain exclusively in the Regions unless moved to other locations by the customer.

Customers who wish to use Amazon Web Services resources in either Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region operated by Sinnet, or China (Ningxia) Region operated by NWCD, or both, are required to create an Amazon Web Services (China) Account, a set of credentials that are distinct and separate from other Amazon Web Services global Accounts. Only customers with an Amazon Web Services (China) Account will be able to use resources in China regions. In accordance with Chinese law and regulations, the State subjects non-commercial internet information services to a record-filing system and commercial internet information services to a permit system. No one may engage in the provision of internet information services without having carried out record-filing procedures or obtained permission. If you use Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region or Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region to host a website providing non-commercial Internet information services, you must undertake filing procedures for this non-commercial website (an “ICP Recordal”).
