AWS Foundational Technical Review Lens now available in the AWS Well-Architected Tool
AWS Partner Network (APN) Partners are now able to prepare for the APN Foundational Technical Review (FTR) by applying the new AWS Well-Architected Tool FTR Lens to workloads when you conduct a Well-Architected Framework Review in the AWS Well-Architected Tool.
The FTR, formerly known as the Technical Baseline Review, is the APN review process that validates APN Partner workloads for a select set of AWS best practices that are fundamental for promoting customer success. This new AWS Well-Architected Tool Lens provides a way for APN Partners to prepare for the FTR by assessing workloads for APN FTR requirements and remediating issues based on prescriptive improvement plans.
The AWS Well-Architected FTR Lens includes best practices for security, reliability, and operational excellence, representing the best-practice requirements necessary for membership in the AWS Partner Network. These best practices help partners take their first step to becoming Well-Architected.
The new FTR Lens in the AWS Well-Architected Tool is available to customers and APN Partners at no additional charge and is offered in all Regions where the AWS Well-Architected Tool is available. To learn more about the AWS Well-Architected Tool, visit the User Guide and Product Page.
